MADE FOR PLAY

Whimsical and delightfully irreverent, these objects are an invitation to explore and play. They are meant to be experienced by you, forming an instance of connection and discovery.
In 2016, Los Angeles–based Korean ceramicist Eunbi began blurring the line between traditional function and contemporary versatility through playful, tactile designs. Whimsical and delightfully irreverent, her objects invite exploration and use—forming small moments of connection and discovery. Rooted in ceramics but shaped by a multi-medium practice, she has an instinct to go further: to sink into a detail, follow a form to its edge, and gently redefine the relationship between design and function. Guided by a deep respect for quiet, much of the work is made in solitude, where time alone becomes another material alongside clay. The result is objects crafted thoughtfully for the art of spending time well, especially with oneself.
